Students were interviewed to give us their perspectives on UGG’s. There are many fashion trends, however, UGG seems to be universally liked and highly popular in recent years. What do the girls at Guyer High School have to say about them?

Matthews received these as a Christmas gift.
“They are soft, warm, and they go great with most outfits during the winter. I also like the bows.” Chassidy Matthews owns a pair of UGGs, and not only does she find them stylish and comfortable, but she later states how they are one of her favorite trends. However, not everyone can say the same about them.
“I think that there are better options out there,” Says Reagan Rutherford, providing a different perspective on them. Rutherford mentions how she’d rather recommend Nikes, Reeboks, or Vans to a friend, due to the higher price of UGG’s. On their website, the average cost of UGG is around $120 and more. UGG’s could be an expensive item for many people wanting to follow this ongoing trend.
As for Charis Smith, she also wouldn’t consider UGG’s as her favorite trend. “In my opinion, they go with a lot more outfits, and they are just really comfortable.” Smith talks about how she prefers wearing Converse, even though she still has a positive opinion about the trending UGG’s, and states how she would 100% recommend them to a friend. Although the interviewers may have separate opinions on what they consider their favorite, something they all can agree on is how comfortable UGG’s are to wear. This could possibly be one of the reasons why they are highly popular at Guyer; many students prefer to be comfortable during school.
“I just like how the outside looks and they look pretty comfy to wear as well”. Jordan Titus has never personally owned them, but they are still a part of her wish-list, due to the style aspect, which is something that the female students at Guyer have also mentioned in their reasoning on why they enjoy these trending shoes. As seen so far, the fashion style and comfort of UGGs have appealed to many, which is the reason why they have become a prominent trend that has occurred at Guyer. It is safe to say that although they aren’t everyone’s top favorite, UGGs live up to their hype, according to the students at Guyer.
