Their last meetings of the 2023-2024 school year

Guyer’s Baking Club has two upcoming meetings left on April 22, and May 13, in Room B126 for their members.
Guyer’s Baking Club is known for their fun, and engaging activities they create. They celebrate holidays and make themes for their meetings according to them.
Jordan Titus is a part of the club and plans on becoming a member again next year. “My favorite part about the baking club is just getting to bake different foods while getting to hangout with my friends and other people.”
There are two meetings left for the end of the year, and one includes an earth day event on April 22, as well as an egg tart event on May 13. Becoming a member includes a $15 dollar fee, which is paid at the first meeting. With this money, ingredients and recipes are able to be supplied for the meetings throughout the year.

Baking also has many benefits such as relieving stress and anxiety levels, while improving your mood, due to the focus on being in the moment. “I think someone could gain a few baking skills but more than that, It’s a good club to meet new people and take a break from the hard parts of school.” Maureen Lee, a staff member for the club, encourages people to join the club to have something to do with your friends, or even to make new friends during the meetings. “Sharing baked goods with your friends and neighbors is a great way to feel connected or make new connections”, Kaiser Permanente quotes from Dr. Honsberger.
Not only does Guyer’s Baking Club introduce another way to make new friends while having fun, you can give what you create to a friend, or family member, and this acts as an expression of love and appreciation. Although there are only two meetings left for this year, next year will provide you a chance to join with exciting new meetings for the 2024-2025 school year.
